  The W140 is quite poly-heavy, too, isn't it? And heavy as well :D The Viper shouldn't feel challenged.

  I remember when the real W140 was introduced, it was criticized by some for being too over-sized and overweight. Looking back, I don't know how fair that was, as it was an excellent car, also the first one to get the V12 engine.

  I read that its entry-level engines had quite some trouble with the car in terms of durability so it probably is a bit heavy but I don't mind that – together with the W126 it's my favorite S-Class.
